Pótkulcs (Spare key)

http://www.potkulcs.hu/index.php?lg=en

It's one of our favorite small bar, that is 5 minutes walking from Nyugati metro and 4-6tram stop at Csengery u. 65/b. There are free concerts and exhibitions, and a green garden in the summer :)

It's a little hard to find it, because it's not visible from the street... but it's even harder to leave! The entrance looks like this:

Trafó

http://www.trafo.hu/en-US

Trafó is a super great cultural center where you can see contemporary theater and dance, other visual art performances, concerts and refreshing contemporary circuses.
There is also a gallery where there are interesting and often conceptual exhibitions.

I have seen many performances there and all of them were really cool.
I can already recommend a contemporary theater performance that will be on the 11 and 12 of may. http://www.trafo.hu/en-US/big_bang
 Would you like to go?

I have already seen another performance (picture below) of this group last year and they didn't speak a word, but it was really funny and touching.

A38 ship

http://www.a38.hu/en/

A38 is the reincarnation of a Ukranian stone-carrier ship. With its inauguration on 30 April 2003, it started a new life on the Danube in Budapest as a cultural venue. Since its opening it has become one of Budapest's most important venues, and according to artists' feedback, one of Europe's coolest clubs.

A38 is the number one in the "100 great bars of the world" selection by Lonely Planet!

There are really great concerts there mostly with foreign artists and some Hugarians as well. The price can be really different, from 1000 to 2-3000 or even 6000 HUF.
